1. Respect those who hold a higher rank than you. Insubordination will not be tolerated. Such actions will be condemned and seen to proper administration by the Emperor and Empress.
2. Members are expected to remain loyal to their pack and the Emperor and Empress in a dispute against another pack or in war should one occur.
3. Anyone is welcomed into Darkseid, no matter their history, sexual orientation, race, breed, sex, or beliefs, etc.
4. The intended harm of, murder of, rape of, and stealing from fellow members is forbidden and may result in a member being stripped of rank or exiled.
5. If any of the above actions are found to have been committed against a wolf in another pack, a member may find themselves temporarily stripped of rank. (Some exceptions are allowed if war has been declared against that pack.)
6. If any of the above actions are found to have been committed against a loner ON PACK LANDS, a member may find themselves temporarily stripped of rank if adequate reasons are not proven.
7. Titled pairs are required to be mated pairs: Emperor and Empress and Duke and Duchess.
8. Mating is encouraged, but permission is be sought from one of the Alphas before the pair breeds for their first time. Any later attempts at breeding do not require permission after the initial granting. Link: Breeding Board
9. Mating with a wolf outside of a pack is accepted, but the pair must first decide what is best for the pups if they wish to breed. (also: see rule 10)
10. All wolves are required to watch after any and all pack pups, though it is the parents responsibility to ensure they are looked after. A caretaker's job is solely this.
11. The ruling pair may arrange a pairing but only with one of their own offspring and only for social relations.
12. The chosen heir of the Emperor and Empress does not have to be related to them by blood.
13. When the the Emperor and Empress are not present, the Duke/Duchess will temporarily take their place if the designated heir is too young or if one is unnamed (see Counsel Regulations).
14. Members are allowed to leave the pack at any time without consequence and will also be accepted back in, however, they must earned their rank like any newcomer.

Loners are permitted to enter the pack lands if passing through or seeking to join. Feel free to meet members, but be sure not to over stay your welcome. (See above)
Trespassing (crossing the border with malicious intent) is illegal. A loner may either be run out for trespassing or brought to the Emperor and Empress. If they do not comply, any and all force can be brought against them. If they have trespassed more than once without cause, they can be killed on sight.
Loners should show proper respect to all pack members or forfeit their ability to traverse Darkseid safely.
New Recruits
Contact with either the Emperor or Empress is required before a wolf can join. They will be asked why they wish to join and how they can contribute to the pack.
A loner should announce themselves and their intent to another member who will then escort them to either the Emperor or Empress if either is not already present.
Upon entering the pack, new members must find out the pack codes themselves, whether by asking others or the Cleric or a caretaker; they will be expected to know and understand them.
NOTE: The rank you request may not be given to you, either becuase that position is full, you do not seem fit for it, or it must be chosen In Character.
If you do not like the rank handed to you, ask for another.

In-Pack Arguments and Fighting
Fighting is not allowed on pack grounds. Any outbreak of violence is to be broken up immediately and the two combatants separated. They may be allowed, if they see necessary to finish their dispute violently OFF of pack territory.
Personal fights can then be dealt with in private, or a member of the First Tier or Dias may preside over them.
Any violence in Serenity Valley or Ivory Blossom Cave is punishable, as the two places are reverent, not to mention that pups live in the Valley and any violence may bring them harm. Wolves who stat a fight in either territory will be dealt with.
Disputes against the Emperor or Empress should be directed to them in person and if it is found necessary, they may be challenged for their rank.
Please file these correctly.

To become a squire, a wolf must be at least one year of age.
Anyone one in the first three tiers, or on the dais, may mentor a squire.
The heir to the pack cannot not be trained by the current ruling pair. Any other member with the ability to train a squire, however, will suffice.
Prospective squires choose who it is they would like to be mentored by. Any wolf who is requested to mentor can either accept or reject the request.
A wolf may only mentor one squire at a time.
Squires are allowed, if the need arises, to change whom they are mentored by at any time during their training. The same system of requesting still applies.
The average squire-ship is 1 year, however, exceptions prolonging this time and also shortening it have/can be made.
To have their training considered complete, all squires must complete a task given them by the Emperor or Empress at the end of their year(average).
Counsel Regulations and Obligations
The Counsel consists of the Cleric, the First Knight, Warder, Ranger, and Physician, and the Founders. Elders may sit in on Counsel meetings but their opinions are not included in decisions.
Counsel members help the Emperor and Empress with decisions, these members being wolves the those that the lead pair's trust for good opinions and advice. Counsel members may also be called upon to help decide new laws and what sort of consequences a wolf who has broken a law deserves.
It is only necessary they meet officially ALL TOGETHER when one of four things occurs: 1. One or both leaders have broken a law 2. Both leaders die/leave without naming an heir 3. A wolf who was previously exiled is proven innocent/worthy of pardoning 4. A declaration of war is in question
In the case of issue 1, the Counsel would meet and decide to what degree the law was broken and then vote on what the punishment should be accordingly. They can go so far as to exile the leader. All voting is final and cannot be revoked, either by the Counsel or by the Emperor or Empress
In the case of issue 2, the Duke and Duchess would temporarily assume command of the pack. The Counsel would meet, nominate candidates, and then vote on who they believe would best lead the pack. Normally the Duke or Duchess are chosen by default, but such is not always the case. Counsel members cannot nominate themselves, but they can be nominated.
In the case of issue 3, only the Counsel can official pardon a wolf. They must agree unanimously on this movement. Exiled wolves can also be re-accepted in the same way. However, these pardoned wolves are still subject to all the pack laws, begin with the rank of omega, and can/will be exiled again if their behavior sinks.
In the case of issue 4, only the Counsel can declare war. The Emperor and Empress have no say in the matter and must uphold the Counsel's finding. A vote of at least two thirds of the Counsel is required. A poll is also required to be taken of the regular pack members(all members excluding Emperor, Empress, the Counsel, and youths), who must also be found at a two thirds in favor. However, if the total number of regular pack members is less than 10, all votes are moot and the declaration cannot be made (This being because of low pack numbers).
