The Hillside

Deep in a hidden valley lays the land of Cailean. It is a mythical valley of sorts, always shrouded in a light mist. The sky shines and irregular color of blue on clear days, deeper and darker than the normal blue offered by other lands. Small creeks zigzag through the area, creating a hydro-symphony that ties in with the unique land perfectly. The animals that roam these lands are like spirits, blending in with the shadows to be unseen. Part of the territory is rolling hills, while a smaller section is a maple tree forest. In this forest lays a large waterfall and an accompanying pool said to be guarded by a lone wolf spirit who was killed by the pool by an illusive murderer. Though not often seen, she is said to give insight to the wolves she meets, although it could just be a rural myth.
