Vines and other greenery that slither down the walls of the opening creep along the snarling lips of the grotto, adding a splash of color before the impending darkness. If anything should happen to wander close enough to inspect the trampled rocks that surround the area, or perhaps, to glimpse the bright crustacean that linger out the out edges of the stream, they may notice the flat rocks that create a path into the depths of the cavern just below the salty water. Worn down by constant use of large paws, belonging to the inhabitants of this hidden den, algae and other slimy substances are no where to be found and offer stepping stones in to the cavity.
