The Mountain Range

The grand mountains make up the bulk of Darkseid's terrain, grey monolith's rising from coniferous forests, the temper dropping as one climbs higher and higher, food and vegetation growing sparse. Only the stoutest of wolves dare walk through them, dark creatures such as bear and leopards holding their own dominion at such altitudes. And yet one might also stumble upon moose, magnificent beasts attracted to the mountain spring from which the Aquaria flows.
