Narcissist let his paws drag slightly as he strolled across the terrain. His head looking to the ground and tongue lolled out as he panted lightly. Sure it was winter, and he should have been cold, freezing to the bone in fact, but no his long journey here had made him quite warm from the constant movement and casual running, let alone tired and weary. The chilling air tussled his fur and made it dance as he continued his slow stride. His head was dropped low to the ground sniffing in the little bits of scents sprinkled across the snow, while his tail hung low and seemed to sweep the snow into his paw prints behind him.
As he continued walking he felt a warm feeling come from somewhere in front of him. Narcissist lifted his head and looked in front of him, his eyes searching for the thing that had created the heat. He quickly spotted the hot springs before him. Vapors leaped off the warm waters and swirled atop its glistening edges. He sniffed in the warm air that swirled through out his nose and smiled. This all looked like a very nice place to relax his sore muscles.
Narcissist moved closer to the water’s edge and with each step the apparent smell of a leader flared through his nose. He would need to be careful this was clearly a border of someone lands. ‘Oh little Narcissist you’re not alone in these lands why not have a little fun? Cause a little mayhem perhaps?’ Talon whispered in his head. “No we will not cause any ruckus here I’m not going to let you ruin a new start!” Narcissist said allowed in an angered tone. He made sure not to let his voice get to load, he didn’t want someone to hear him or think him crazy. You wont control use if we want to come out and play, you silly fool. talon laughed in his head.
This was a new start for Narcissist a new place, he was hoping to join these lands and find a home, a real one that he didn’t just pass through. He hoped that maybe being a part of something would help him some how overcome his other personalities. Of course he hoped a lot of things would help him with this but nothing thus far had seemed to work.
As Narcissist came next to the water’s edge he saw the snow had begun to melt away from it, the water was much too warm to let the snow stay. Before he decided to enter what looked like a very relaxing swim and bath he made sure to let the leader of this land know he was here, to know he wished to join, if possible, and that he meant no harm. Narcissist lifted his head parted his lips and let out a long deep howl, that flowed through the air high up into the skies.
When he had let his howl come to a close he inched into the water, its warm embrace around his body did wonders for his muscles. He dipped his head under the water and let his fur become soaked before resurfacing. This felt like heaven to him, a wonderful relaxing bath in heaven. He eyes gleamed with joy that is until he looked at the water’s surface. It was only for a mere second that he could see his reflection but it was there. He caught the glimpse of his eyes, the one as normal as any other wolf’s eye. Though his other eye with its pentagram in the middle was a dead giveaway for him. He worried he would be judged for it, but then again unless closely looked at it was naked to one’s eyes.
He had been looked down upon by his family for his eye, it was known to all of them that he had been born with a demon soul inside him, and he was out cast from his pack and right after they figured he was old enough to fend for himself he was exiled. This just so happened to be after his first summer passing and hardly ever in that time did he even get to see his parents let alone would he even be acknowledged. He did not want such things to happen here.
He shifted in the water not wanting it to become clear again, and decided it would be best to just sit and relax. He would wait here until he heard from the leader or any one of this pack for that matter.
