15 - 20 Years | Large | Canis Niveus
Creation Status: Prevailing.
Species Status: Common Height: 3 - 6 feet (female) and 4 - 7 feet (male) Weight: 90 - 350 lbs. Litter: 3 - 4 Social: Moderate
Coat Colors: vary from white to dark greys, but almost never black. Blueish-grey, as well as coppery or brassy colours are fairly common. Patterns are mostly fairly low-contrast, with one colour fading into another over time, with the most frequent exception being the metallic colours. Fur is typically dense, with individual strands being quite fine.
Eye Colors: Blue, yellow, gray, silver
Mandatory Traits: Optional Traits: Age, height and weight are not absolute, but would be exceeded very rarely (the rarest being smaller sizes). Northlanders tend to suffer little from aging itself, but with no greater healing ability than is normal, injuries and illness prevent them from living unnaturally long lives as their bodies wear out.
Northlanders get their various names for a pretty obvious reason: they tend to live in cold places to the north, or at high altitudes. There is a tendency toward coastal areas also, for cultural reasons.
They are well adapted to the cold and ice, being able to deal well with constant sunshine reflecting on snow as well as months of night. This is nothing magical, however. In fact they often distrust any kinds of powers because they themselves value physical and mental prowess, while interacting (peacefully) with others quite rarely.
They are most often strong, but lean. Some rely on sheer brute strength and bulk, but this is uncommon. Those who do not have strength may get along if they are nimble and have a quick wit, but because of the harsh environment those who have weak bodies often die, unless they are wise enough that the others might seek to look after them.
Key notable features are endurance and paws which are slightly larger than is normal when compared to their bodies. The former is both mental and physical. They have flexible bodies which don't break easily, and can withstand great pain and suffering. The latter is an adaptation to walking on soft and uneven surfaces. Often in deep snow, if it is hard enough, they will walk or run on top instead of using more energy to achieve a slower pace by forcing their way through it.
They do have trouble with warmer climates and seasons therein – usually being active at night and early morning if not avoiding those places altogether. They can also swim quite proficiently with their near-waterproof coats and wide paws, so that can be another option to cool down.
Another cultural trait, fairly widespread even with those who adhere to little else, is the tendency to have more than one name. Specifically, a wolf would have one name taken from (his) father or (her) mother which is spoken first. Following this is a given name, and behind that the name of the wolf's clan or pack.
For example a male Northlander whose father's given (middle) name was Aethinn and pack was called Vannr might call himself "Aethinn Links Vannr" (Links being the given name) in a formal setting or when first introduced to someone.
Naturally, exceptions are made. A wolf may not know his or her relative parent, or may have no current pack. At other times one may want to distance him or herself from said parent for some reason. The name may also change, of course, with the situation (especially the pack name). The given name is also called the "true" name and is used in normal conversation rather than the first name.

11 - 13 Years | Small | Canis Tractus
Creation Status: Prevailing.
Species Status: Common. Height: 4.5 feet - 4.8 feet Weight: 120 - 130 lbs. Litter: ---- Social: ----
Coat Colors: White, black, silver, brown
Eye Colors: Green, yellow, orange, silver, gold
Mandatory Traits: Glowing eyes at night. Glistening fur by night. Strength by night. Blind or color blind by day. Optional Traits: Complete blindness during the day, however they must have some type of vision impairment. Active during night.
The Cosmos wolves are very special in their own way. By night, their fur gains an odd type of sheen, almost a glisten or glitter, as if the moon was reflecting from their fur as if it were coated in diamond dust. These wolves, too, have a mutation, a mutation of the eyes. The cells in the irises of their eyes have been altered so that by day, they go through a type of semi-photosynthesis and take in the energy of the sunlight; by night, this energy is used in such a manner that their eyes begin to light up and glow in the dark. By day, these wolves are blind, by night, because of the bright glow and just generally how their mutation works, they can see perfectly, if not better than the average wolf.
These wolves seem to gain power by the nighttime. They feel strongest in the moonlight and are the pure definition of 'night owl'. One of the most important mutation these wolves harbor is not one that can be seen. It occurs inside the body, and it causes a strengthening in the bones whenever lunar light is shined upon the host. At night, natural bone recovery processes begin in the body to strengthen ones bone enamel. The workers on the bones are called osteoclasts and they strip away old bone so vitamin D and calcium can be activated to make the bone stronger. The Cosmos have a mutation where the strengthening is intensified and sped up for quick, strong access. There are some down sides, though. In daylight the Cosmos can be very weak after over using their new strength during the night. Even when not using the mutation, they can still be exhausted in the sunlight.

8 - 10 Years | Small | Canis Tactus
Creation Status: Prevailing
Species Status: Common. Height: 3 feet - 4 feet Weight: 95 - 110 lbs. Litter: 2 - 4 (Always identical twins) Social: Average
Coat Colors: White, light blue, light green, light yellow, pink
Eye Colors: Grey, silver, white, gold
Mandatory Traits: Identical twins. No paranormal or supernatural senses. Exceptional ordinary senses. Two mating seasons. Optional Traits: Beautiful voices. Physical identification due to curiosity of their senses.
You know that feeling you get when someone you can't see is staring at you? Or the sense that there is someone else in the room? Or faint and fleeting gut feeling that says someone is behind the door you're about to open? Well, what if you couldn't feel that? What if you never got the warning? What if you weren't able to have that precognition? Well, Litheli don't. They live life without any of those senses, as well as have a hard time with directions and remembering where they may have met others before. But just because they have a bad memory doesn't mean they aren't worth taking notice of.
Every Litheli has an identical twin. Alive or dead, at some point, there are always two physical copies of each Litheli. But why? Because they are small and their life times relatively short compared to even the "normal" wolves. But not to worry, for Litheli have two breeding seasons, since gestation periods are relatively short, once in fall like every other species, and again in the spring, so their pups are born in late winter - earlier spring, and late summer - earlier fall. Pups stay with their mother a year, but these two season ensure that mating can occur more frequently with better results.
But what makes these creatures exceptional are their exceptional senses. Not only in sight, but also sound, taste, touch, and smell. Because of their high ability with senses, they tend to be very social, loving to use their fined tuned senses, but sometimes, especially in large crowds, they can become briefly mad with overloaded senses. But also because of these extreme senses they are naturally very adventurous and curious; they love to examine objects in detail, meaning they aren't above tasting everything, or smelling it overly. They are also a species very dependent on touch. They love to touch and be touched by others, simply in greeting or as an expression of love. Every Litheli has a beautifully pitched voice and they love to use it, be it through speaking or howling. They love to climb trees and are very quick over short distances.

21 - 25 Years | Medium | Canis Mortalitas
Creation Status: Arcane.
Species Status: Uncommon. Height: 5 feet - 5.5 feet Weight: 135 - 180 lbs. Litter: 1 - 3 Social: Rarely
Coat Colors: Dusky grays, whites, browns, and blacks
Eye Colors: Silver, black, green, yellow, brown
Mandatory Traits: Seeing spirits. Ability to speak to spirits. Ability to see a death glow around another. Ability to give up half of soul; must lose memories of character they are trying to save. "Swaying" fur. Optional Traits: Unsocial over clinging spirits. Dark aura and glowing eyes when angered. Ability to switch off the power to see spirits.
These wolves can view the dead, they can see spirits of wolves that have died, or never lived. This doesn't just include the spirits of wolves. They can also choose to turn this ability on or off by way of concentration, like choosing to tune out the ability almost. They have no real physical mutations, but when they concentrate on trying to see something, like a spirit that doesn't want to be seen, their eyes will begin to glow slightly. They also seem to be ethereal, usually seeming to glide more then walk, they are completely physical beings, something is just obviously off. They are the only race that can speak, and see the dead. Spirits of deceased will usually cling to them, which is what is assumed causes the wolves to see off to others.
The Quietus are not physically identifiable, like most other races. These wolves have extraordinary visual perception of the morbid world. Quietus wolves are also capable of determining whether or not another wolf is about to die, however, this sight is very limited. When a wolf has limited time to live by illness, age, or any other natural means, even blood-loss or prolonged injury, these wolves will be able to see a faint glow around that wolf, and this tells the Quietus that death is looming eerily close for that particular character. Usually finding this to be a curse, these wolves tend to keep these secrets to themselves, as well as their true identities, and are known to play off as though they are another species of common wolves. They tend to get blamed a lot for the deaths of wolves, should another character know that they are Quietus. Over time, and practice a Quietus will reach a new kind of power.
Quietus, if even willing to do so, can give up either half of their soul or use a large chunk of life energy (will take many months to years to gain it all back) to simply prolong the life of a dying character, however, if they do so, they will lose all memories of that character ever being in their life. Should they give half their soul, which would prolong a characters life by up to a little over a year, the character who's life was stretched will hold every memory and secret the Quietus has ever known, even if the Quietus has forgotten some of them his or herself after the deal is made. To prolong a life, a Quietus must share his or her blood with that of the victim, and that blood must be in the body of the victim. When calm, they look somewhat normal, however, their fur seems to drift and sway as though they were underwater. When they are angered, their eyes glow, and a faint, dark purple to black aura emanates like smoke around them.

11 - 13 Years | Medium | Canis Cruentius
Creation Status: Arcane.
Species Status: Uncommon. Height: 5 feet - 5.5 feet Weight: 110 - 125 lbs. Litter: 1 - 3 Social: Yes
Coat Colors: Pallid colors, gray, white, yellow.
Eye Colors: White, Silver, blood red.
The Boreal are also another very unique race of wolves. Their blood runs cold, unlike all other mammals, and the depend on the daylight to function properly. They are drawn to anything that is warm, and quite frequently shiver to produce heat. They are very sensitive to the touch, and can feel their own heartbeat every second of every day pounding throughout their bodies. Because of a lack of iron and protein in their bodies, they are prone to cannibalistic acts and tend to bite and nip at other wolves without realizing it, almost like when one has a seizure, they don't realize it is happening as their bodies just move. Anything that bleeds attracts their fancy as the mixture of warm blood and nutrients that the blood gives drives them almost to insanity if they are not already satiated. During the night, they almost completely shut down, as if in hibernating, as their heart slows its beat almost to a stop so the wolf can rejuvenate and survive in the cooled nights. During the winter, these wolves sleep until mid spring in a den and do not show face unless there are days of bright sunlight to wake them, as any change in temperature can make a difference. A few degrees dropping from a luke warm temperature could possibly cause them to immediately go lethargic and potentially shut down and fall asleep where they stand. The wind also effects them, as well, but only momentarily. Mothers stay with children of this race until the pups are at least old enough to survive on their own through winters and nights. These wolves would do best to drive a father out of the den sight as males are more prone to blood drinking than a female would be.

Creation Status: Arcane.
Species Status: Uncommon. Height: 5 feet - 5.5 feet Weight: 120 - 135 lbs. Litter: 1 - 4 Social: Yes
Coat Colors: Black, gray, Silver, Red
Eye Colors: Yellow, green, gold, silver, Red
Viperials wolves are another class of mutated wolves. They are quite dangerous as their unique temperament and unpredictable, sudden actions and responses make them very daunting adversaries to any. Viperial wolves can be very vocal at times, but not in the means that they talk too much, no, they are capable of making a wider variety of noises than any other race of wolf would be able to make; hisses, various cooing, and even imitations of complicated bird-songs. With slender, forked tongues, most would say that aside from non-visible traits, that their mouth structure is the only thing that easily sets them apart from the Felinial race. Their front canines are very prominent and in most cases protrude slightly out of the mouth; they are finely tipped with an extremely sharp point that often penetrates their own tissue if they are not careful during grooming sessions. These fangs slightly curve toward the back of their throats so as to hold prey and enemies firmly in place once biting, but they must be careful and have proper restraint on the victim as their fangs are often brittle and can snap easily if the victim thrashes about too much. These fangs, if broken, will always drop out and will be replaced with a new healthy tooth through a few months time. Viperials have also adapting in such a way that one each side of their upper jaws, venom glands are neatly nestled in two crevices that are carved into their skull from evolution. While their front canines may do massive damage just by being so sharp and lethal, they do not inject venom as one would expect. Viperial wolves have another set of thick, and much shorter pointed fangs that are placed just in front of the molars in their upper jaw. Because of the venom gland placement, it is only these teeth that inject venom, and it is injected upon their will. The venom is capable of paralyzing it's victim for up to five minutes time, and comes out as a thick, lime green syrup like fluid that thins the moment it makes contact with blood so it can flow through veins easily. These wolves also often have slit pupils, a trait similar to that of a Felinial; their pupils are incapable of changing sizes based on the level of light, but, they can see in partial infrared vision during the night.

Coat Colors: White, red, black, brown, tan
Eye Colors: Green, gold, yellow, blue
Felinials are very similar to Viperial wolves aside from their lack of poison and forked tongues. Felinials, as the name suggests, are very cat-like in most aspects. They too have slit pupils, but unlike the Viperials, their pupils can vary in size depending on the amount of light in the area. Capable of seeing well in the dark, the only downside these wolves have to their extraordinary eye-sight is that at night, they are completely color-blind and can only see based off of the grayscale determined by light levels. Felinials are usually very slender and walk with a proud, regal stride, but with cautious stealth as well. Very attentive, these characters are exceptional listeners and can hear a pin drop almost twenty feet away from them. They are extremely fast and agile and have extraordinary balance. With near-razor sharp retractable claws, these wolves are usually very physical fighters and along with their tenacity and ferocity, they too are terrible enemies to have.

Eye Colors: Blue, green, silver, yellow
The azure are a race of wolves who's name has been derived from the color of their blood. A mutation in their cells and body has caused the pigmentation of their blood cells to be of a different color, and although this is a minor malfunction and does not effect the wolfs' health, they are often seen as "freaks" or "aliens", if you will, because of their blue blood. They often see colors much brighter than they actually are, and also are very sensitive when it comes to their hearing. The Azures, though, have a much thicker blood consistency, therefor, it takes a while for wounds to actually bleed, if they bleed at all. Their blood has a very sweet flavor to it, almost like nectar or honey, but has a very small level of potency in defensive toxins that run through their blood to defend against other illness. This means these wolves have strong immune systems, but if their blood is somehow consumed by a pup or small animal like a bat or bug, it could possibly kill that creature. As for other adult wolves or larger animals than a pup, their blood would only cause for numbness of the tongue.

26 - 30 Years | Medium | Canis Posterus
Creation Status: Regulated.
Species Status: Uncommon. Height: 5 feet - 5.5 feet Weight: 120 - 130 lbs. Litter: 1 - 3 Social: Occasionally
Coat Colors: Silver, tan, brown, red
Eye Colors: Silver, yellow, purple, red
Mandatory Traits: De ja vu sensitivity. Dreams of the future involving themselves. Sensitivity to psychological strengths and presences. Optional Traits: Pain when exposed to psychological energy.
The Prescient are very sensitive when it comes to things like "de ja vu". The often have experiences where they will feel like that have been in a situation before and often have dreams of situations that they themselves will play out in the future at some point, however, any characters or other beings involved in their futures are unknown and are always blurred in these dreams, and their voices are mumbled, watery, and indistinct, thus making it impossible to identify those that will be in their futures. These wolves are very sensitive to any psychological strengths or presences. For example: if another wolf had the ability to telepathically move something (which couldn't happen, this is an example) these wolves would be able to detect this by means of a constant buzz or ringing in their mind.. almost like when you get a ringing in your ear. Should these wolves be present during a time where a telepathical power is being used, they will suffer from migraines. When they are around wolves in deep thought, they will get the same buzzing sensation. These wolves get this sensation when around the Celestial, Firebrand, the Wraith, and the Quietus.

Species Status: Rare. Height: 4.5 feet - 5 feet Weight: 120 - 130 lbs. Litter: 1 - 4 Social: Very.
Coat Colors: Pink, red, purple, yellow, brown
Eye Colors: Light blue, purple, pink
Mandatory Traits: Light shade of eye color. Ability to create transparency. Optional Traits: Ability to sense emotions of other characters.
Wraiths have very strange abilities. A Wraith wolf is easily characterized by the light blue color of their whole eyes, almost as though they are blind without the presence of cataracts. Unlike the name suggests, Wraith wolves are not ghosts. A Wraith is capable of making itself appear to be transparent, almost invisible, by means of an illusion. Wraiths have strong telepathical connectivity with every wolf around them and are capable of sensing the emotions of another wolf at all times, but not only can they do this, they have strengthened their ability to the point where they can tinker with another characters visual perception just enough so that they are almost invisible to other wolves. They themselves do not become invisible, and this power is not able to be directed at one character alone for once they activate this power, every wolf within a seeing range of the Wraith will be effected. This is quite useful for skilled hunters.

19 - 23 Years | Small - Medium| Canis Navi
Creation Status: Regulated.
Species Status: Uncommon. Height: 4.5 feet - 5.5 feet Weight: 100 - 110 lbs. Litter: 1 - 4 Social: Very
Coat Colors: Black, red, brown, white, blue
Eye Colors: Red, blue, green, yellow
Mandatory Traits: Wings. Hollow bones. Light weight. Optional Traits: Bird wings; they can be bat-wings. Fur like beaver fur.
The imperial; the most divine of them all. There are many myths surrounding the origin of this race, one such being that they had come about when a father wolf had mated with a phoenix who pretended to be a wolf, however, such things are impossible... right? The Imperial are one of the races with a genetic mutation that had at first allowed them to grow two extra limbs on their bodies. The originals of this race started out having more bat-like wings, but these wings were far too deformed to function properly. Over time, the strongest and least deformed of this race had bred, and over many years of evolution and breeding, perfection had finally broken through. The wings had grown more adept to functioning and moving, and feathers had grown upon them as the fur that coated the fore-arm of these formerly bat-like wings had drastically thickened to the point they were almost like quills. These quills eventually fringed and frayed at the ends to give off a feather like appearance and eventually this effect bred into newer generations and feathers started to actually form, however, these feathers are faux as they are not made of the same material as bird feathers. The Imperial have brittle, hollow, thin bones, thus making them significantly lighter in weight by at least twenty to thirty pounds. Their wings, though, are incapable of keeping a wolf aloft as they are still too weak and internally malformed to work as a bird's wings would; the muscles are not yet strong enough to fly. These wolves bare a slick coat that is coated in a natural oil to keep them waterproof, and they do not bare a normal, soft textured undercoat like normal wolves do. Think beaver fur, if you must.
Some imperials have branched off from their normal evolutionary track and instead of forming bird-like wings, they have retained skin and have strengthened bat-like wings.

20 - 50 Years | Meduim | Canis Humus
Creation Status: Prevailing.
Species Status: Common. Height: 6 feet - 6.5 feet Weight: 190 - 230 lbs. Litter: 1 - 4 Social: Occasionally
Coat Colors: Black, green, gray, brown, tan
Eye Colors: Black, brown, green, blue
Mandatory Traits: Aggressive tendencies; hot tempered with a short fuse. Territorial. In tune with earth and natural disasters. Inability to sense the psychologically powerful or essences. Optional Traits: Sabers. Horns.
These wolves have a variety of disturbances about them. Firstly, they were born with strange primeval instincts that vastly sets them apart from other wolves. They have aggressive tendencies and can be very brutal in nature and battle. They are much more muscular than other wolves, and tend to throw their weight around to establish dominance. They can be jumpy, easily startled, and often display other strange behavior. Abandoned by all spirituality, these wolves lack all capability of sensing the supernatural and detecting the psychologically strong. They never seem to be touched by any type of god there is as they come as natural as it gets. Their mutation is very unique, as their skulls have retained some ancient characteristics of their ancestors, only, they are much more advanced. Most of these wolves have bone that protrudes from the tops of their heads and gives off a type of horn like appearance. The size of these horns depends on the level of testosterone in the character's body, so naturally, females' horns are much, much shorter. The bone, or horns, are usually brown and scarred depending on the age of the character. Naturally, pups' horns are stubs in the beginning, and are snow white. Did we mention that these wolves' front canines are colossal in size? Their front teeth protrude by a great length outside of their jaws and just barely pass midway point at their lower jaw. These wolves suffer from stomach aches, tingling skin, headaches, or minor muscle spasms in time of bad weather. When natural disasters are about to occur, they suffer migraines or vomiting. These wolves are very in tune with their surroundings and nature and are able to tell when something is suffering by a tingling sensation they get in their skin.

Creation Status: Regulated.
Species Status: Rare. Height: 3 feet - 3.5 feet Weight: 50 - 70 lbs. Litter: 1 - 2 Social: Very.
Coat Colors: Black, red, orange, yellow
Eye Colors: Red, yellow, green, blue
Mandatory Traits: Foxes. Bat-wings. Due claw. Optional Traits: Mischievous.
Unfortunately, no, these are not wolves, instead, they are genetically mutated foxes. The originals were created from a cross breeding between an arctic and red fox, thus creating a creature with a body and slim physique of a red fox, but the small stature of an arctic one. They too, have had the same genetically malfunctioned mutations, but, unlike the Imperials, they have not been successful with perfecting their wing mutation. Instead, they remain to have bat-like wings, however, they are very small and brittle. These creatures also have hollow bones, but not to the same extent as the Imperials. Their bones are filled with holes, air pockets, like a sponge, but, they are much stronger than that of the Imperial's bones. To survive, they have adapted by means of growing out their due claw to such a functionable length that makes it possible for them to climb and scale trees and vines like a panda would. Their hind paws, however, remain unscathed with this mutation. They tend to be very devilish and are ill-natured to the point where causing some type of mischief towards others is inevitable.

Coat Colors: Black, brown, red, gray
Eye Colors: Brown, red, orange, amber, yellow, green
Mandatory Traits: Pentagram in the right eye. Reincarnations of demons. Optional Traits: Hold memories of a former life. Evil nature.
The Firebrand are supposed to be the complete opposite of the Celestials. Firebrands, meaning "agitators", are said to be soldiers of the hell gods. Many believe that they bring bad luck to whichever pack of which they belong to, and an overabundance of them in once pack is said to mean that that particular pack is either subjected to die by some unnatural, demonic disaster, or they are chosen by Hell itself for some task. Of course these are only myths and do not need to be proven true ... Firebrands are created in the same manner as the Celestials; demon souls are wound into the unborn body of a wolf at the time of conception. Also prone to split-personalities for the same reasons as the Celestials, the Firebrand are also known for having chronic depression or anger problems. A Firebrand has always been deemed as more identifiable than the Celestials are because of the very, very faint pentagram shape laid over the iris of their right eye. This trait, though, is so hard to spot that most would think them as normal wolves, however, if you were to look really carefully, the natural color of their right eye would be vaguely lighter where the lines to the pentagram shape are; the pupil of the eye lays in the center of the pentagram shape; centered in the star of it.

Mandatory Traits: Reincarnations. Optional Traits: Good nature. Memories of a former life.
The Celestial are a very, as their name suggests, heavenly group of wolves. They are said to be born as apostles to the "beings of light", or, the good gods of land. They may not necessarily preach or go off sending messages from their gods, as most would expect them to do, but they certainly do gain reputation quickly for being angels or saviors of some types. These wolves are the reincarnations of a wolves that have died and have been blessed by the heavenly gods to be as angels. While the dead spirits cannot return to earth and roam like the forsaken ghosts, they can occasionally be pulled back into a physical body to give life to a wolf fetus the exact moment of conception. Most Celestials forget their souls' former lives, however, on occasion, some have flash backs or remembrances of faces or events without ever having experienced those things before. These wolves are more prone to having split-personalities. The Celestials are physically characterized by their long, wispy, hairlike fur that comes in any color. Although this is a vague identification, most would be able to pick out a Celestial by their fur's texture and how they act.

100 - 150 Years | Large | Canis Bellum
Creation Status: Custom.
Species Status: Very Rare. Height: 6 feet - 11 feet Weight: 350 - 620 lbs. Litter: 1 - 2 Social: Occasionally.
Coat Colors: Black, gray, browns, red, purple
Eye Colors: Red, orange, yellow, silver
Wars Mandatory Traits: A lengthened tongue. Weak abilities in necromancy. Optional Traits: Small horns. Foul temper. Forked tongue.
Warsfeil Mandatory Traits: Slit pupils.Lengthened fur. Lengthened tongue. Jewelry from their tutor. Optional Traits: Foul temper. Forked tongue. Horns.
Warsfeil are very talented, dark creatures. They defy the laws of heaven and meddle with the dead, calling spirits back to their decaying corpses and raising them from their graves. Warsfeil can also talk to the damned; animals that have been condemned to a fiery after life. The abilities of a warsfeil are not gained at birth, and inexperienced wolves of this race are called Wars. Wars can barely communicate with the deceased and cannot raise very large corpses: nothing bigger than a badger, or maybe a young fawn. It takes years of training under a fully fledged Warsfeil to gain these abilities, the gruesome practice usually making most wolves turn their back on the experience, or fall in to the category of mentally unstable.
Wars do not look out of the ordinary, other than their lengthened tongues and most often, small spikes, no bigger than a thumb, on their head. Once a wars is transformed in to a Warsfeil, their pupils dialate and turn to slits. An increase of height and weight is rare, but possible. Their fur growth is stimulated and lengthens their pelt, and they may also grow multiple and/or larger horns.
A wars is only considered a warsfeil after it has been marked by it's tutor. A warsfeil will give their apprentice a piece of engraved jewelry to complete the training.
When a warsfeil calls on the dead, the soul is stolen from wherever it has been sent to rest, and returned to the body. This is an extremely painful process for the deceased, and an inexperienced warsfeil can damage the memories and the mind if they are not careful. If this happens the corpse will not be able to function mentally as well as physically, and may lose the structure of sentences or not be able to speak at all. Memories are very delicate and it takes time for them to recover. They can regain their past faster if a loved one is near. A warsfeil can tie a spirit to it's body for two days at the most, though it takes a great amount of strength and stability to do so, and the warsfeil may go temporarily mad or experience excruciating headaches during the duration. A wars can summon small corpses with the same risks, though they can only hold the deceased together for a maximum of eight hours.

These wolves have very slender legs, built for quick, long distance running. They are close to nature, and are often seen with moss, or flowers growing in their thick fur. Their blood contains a chemical that speeds up healing due to the fact that they constantly bathe in moonlight; which is believed to give their blood a 'healing touch'. Some other races, when injured, will seek out on of the Lunae race so that they can be healed without having to wait a normal amount of time. This is usually done by one of two ways: causing the Lunae to bleed, and lapping up the green blood that their wounds expel, or by asking council of a Lunae; at which the Lunae will willingly allow their blood to be shared. Most tend to go for the former, though the Lunae's blood is more powerful if it is given willingly. Their pads are harder then most, allowing them to tred on most terrain, and it is very rare for them to cut their paws on anything sharp. They are very skittish, usually choosing to associate with only their own race. They gain most of their life force by bathing under the moon, during the time of the new moon, they usually will climb to caves that are hard to access other then by their own breed, and hibernate until the next day. Depending on their physical condition, some will hibernate for up to five days, conserving what energy they have left until there is more of the moon in the sky. Usually only children will hibernate for only one day, as something in their bodies allows them to store much more "moon energy" then those who have aged. What it is that causes this, is unknown to even the Lunae. This breed is very kind, and usually very kind-hearted. They do not discriminate against any of the races, but they prefer their own above all others.
