The faint sound of left over rain water invaded the dark cloaked brutes mind, caused him to shift his single good eye to glare at the offending piece of stone. It was a breath taking clear morning, the drab over cast of soft Grey set the mood as mellow and smooth. He grunted softly as he hauled his lanky frame across the floor, the arthritis in his right hind limb acting up from the dampness. He had spent some time on the road again, and now he was due a respite. The crows serenaded him like no female ever could, but despite his urges to be alone there was also the familiar pull of loneliness. He cast a look over at the fields and shuddered, once he would have relished such a color. But now, now he hated it.
He used to be a monster, used to not give a fuck about anything. But now he had changed, at least as much as an old bastard could. Of course he was still headed for hell, but why not enjoy the time he had left. He hauled himself up a large flat piece of rune, and settled down with a slight groan. The sun was starting to peek its head out, and he edged forward to let it soak into his pelt. Ice blue hue trained on the terra, he was content to relax for a while. Hopefully, he would be able to claim the crown here. These sorry fools looked like they could use a real leader.
He looked almost regal, fur a fine mess as he stretched out across the stone like any great pharaoh. He hoped his brother would arrive soon, however he betrayed no emotions upon his charcoal mask. The crows still lingered in the nooks and crannies, as he waited with a calm eagerness for the day to begin.

Her body moved with ease over the land that she was so familiar with. It had been a few days sense she had left the comforts of the night and embarked out during the day. However, that was just how she was. After all, something more dangerous then the night itself had to look after the land currently.
Her shoulders rotated as fur pushed up and lifted out and around a muscular form. Her paws pressed themselves against stones as pads moved and balanced the weight that was being placed upon them. Her tall form sent the air around her; wind blew the fur covering her. Hips moved from side to side in a seductive fashion as she moved over the earth’s surface.
Eyes held within the sockets of her skull were not as vibrate in the daylight, though the colors she viewed the world in were the direct opposite. Her vision was like the color spectrum, everything held its own sort of brilliance.
The stones that made up this section of Salvatore pack land fascinated her. The way there was a world depicted around them from thousands of years before. So interesting. Just as her golden eyes rolled over the landscape, the scent of another rolled back to her. Male. Had she met this creature before? There were many about the land she had not met before, this creature was more then likely one of them.
Lets play a game. Her thoughts bleed over her brain. The smirk crossed her face as she slithered her way over the land and in his direction. Her claws were silent this time, despite their length; they did not click with steps. Her ears flickered up upon the skulls of her markings filled head.
She remained to his right side. There was the visual of a missing eye. Even though the male more then likely honed the ability to alter his peripheral vision, he was still missing some of his sight. Her brows were slanted as she stalked her prey.

It was an odd thing to wake up, and not be battered and bruised for once. It was Erie almost to be here in a state of quite reflection. He had not been so silent in forever. He was still restless, eager to go on the hunt. Like an addict, he had worked long and hard to break free from his chains. But oh god did he still want a taste of the darker life. He wrinkled his mug, no he had sworn such things off long ago. He was a good wolf, or as close it it as he would ever get. Fur teased by the wind, he shivered in harsh fascination. Just who would rule this broken kingdom? It was a fate yet to be revealed, and he waited with baited breath.
He winched hard at the sudden buzz that invaded his cranium, damn his species. His brother was the lucky one, free of these pesky head aches that came with picking up on the deep psychological auroras. He swung his massive ebony skull around to see who the offender was, surprised to see a rather tall and stately female. In the long ago, he would have tried to seduce her or just not care what she thought of his sexual affairs. He still felt that spark, heart pounded in his chest but not out of primitive urges. It had been ages since he had encountered another wolf, and he cast a sweeping glance over her. A smirk grew, so it seemed she was filled with other intentions then just a formal hello.
He hauled his ragged frame to his paws, Ebony flag level with her own. He was not yet a high rank, but he was still a dominate male. Frosted azure eye held a light of curiosity, and he took a bold step forward. "Well Hello there Miss, Excuse me for any interruption of your morning walk" There was a hint of bitter sweet danger, it dripped off his vocals and seeped into the morning air. He was like a well trained tiger, calm and slightly tame but it was still best to keep your distance. She smelled of high status, and he assumed she was either the delta or beta. Would he lead her into battle, or just to the fire side? Ebony flag waved a slow greeting, no need in to chase of newly found pack members.
"Of course how rude it is of me, I have not even given my name" He bowed now, but there was something not quite right about it, it held a sinister tune that could not easily be dismissed. Because for all his pledges and determination to change his ways, at the core he was still the same old wolf. A vile, putrid mess of a bastard. Only difference was he no longer bit so much."My name is Chalice, and I have to say I like what I see" He felt that fimmilar gut pull, but shoved it aside with a slight frown. He wanted to be a bad ass, but not a monster. At least not any more.

Her golden vibrate eyes took in all the rays of color bouncing off his being and the objects around him, her mind taunted its self in an imaginary world. A world that would fill her spine with the tingling sensation one gets from a high no substance here could give her. An acidic tongue slipped free from the entrapment it was enclosed within. Teeth slid apart as the muscle passed past thick blackened lips. Flicking its self outward and over the edge.
-
Blood filled her mouth as it poured through the creases of her lip corners. Teeth stained with the essence of a taken life. Her muzzle dipped in the thickened liquid that should have clotted in a wound. But thus, the greatness was no at her feet.
Mangled and tattered, taken in as a meal of its own. A challenge that was not too great to take care of. The life of another at her paws. Like sucking the soul from a weakened pup. Black fur caught in groves of the stone flooring.
What once was a question seemed to end in divestment of words and tonal values. The fury that was laced in her very being was released like the flick of a human made light switch. The taste of warmth on her pallet and the sensation that climaxed on her taste bud filled tongue.
-
The corners of her mouth began to salivate slightly as she looked the male over. Claws seemed to show their ebony coloration as she took two elongated steps across the land. Her goal was to close the distance between the two fur coated creatures. Her tail draped the back of her ass as she moved. Tips brushing the ground she once blessed with the touch of her tainted paws.
The trickle of bitterness oozed down her spine on her neck under her thickly grown skin. ‘Miss’, the term was like screaming dying rabbits. Was it every brutes nature to make those around them want to uplift the acidic coated substances in their stomachs? Her head did not drop, though she had a feeling she should have known this creature before now. But then again, was had been around way be fore him. But, it seems even with time the old move out and the new try to grasp what was left.
“What makes you think I could care to even know such information about yourself, such as you name?” Her tongue was like a violent lashing sent though the sound waves to those around her. Hissing with the flicking against the teeth they were created behind. Her fur gave a gently push with the wind, coming up and over her surroundings. Her hips moved is a swagger type motion, left to right, side to side. Like she was flaunting herself to a male that would never have a chance. “Well Chalice,” Her paws moved her around a few feet away from the side of his body, the side that contained the socket filled with an eye. “I wish one could say the same about you.” Her tone was sadistic as it coated her words with the very poison that coated her mouth.
She knew exactly whom this creature was. However, he knew not a thing of her. It was not in her intention to make this first interaction anything but easy, nor pleasant for the male. She enjoyed the taunting demonic games that came wit her nature. For the taste and scent of blood filled her brain cavity, and yet there was nothing of a sort around her currently.
