Chase the running wind;;
Atheca

Racing through the night, wishing to fly.
I am who I am, fighting to survive;;
Here's a little about me..
Here's a little about me..
--- But you can call me Atheca
--- I've been around for 3 summers.
--- And I was born on September 8th
--- Last time I checked I was Female
--- I am 4.6 feet tall, and I weigh 102 pounds.
--- I prefer males as my partners.
--- You may notice that I am a Imperial.
--- Hey, I'm able to have children.
[/ul]
You may find a glimpse of me, but I doubt it;;
How you will recognize me..
How you will recognize me..
--- My markings can be found in splashes of black across my face and ears.
--- I have a slim form.
--- If you look in to my eyes you'll notice they're bright green with a black pupil.
--- My pads are solid black
--- And my tongue, teeth and gums are mostly pink with spots of black
--- wouldn't call them deformities, but on my body I have two slick dark brown feathered wings.
--- Ouch, I've got a oddly scarred patch of feathers at the base of my left wing
--- I'm cursed with nothing
--- To you, I probably sound like a shy girl who is not sure of herself, but has the possibility of a lovely voice.

If you come near me, you might be wary of what you find;;
Everybody has a personality...
Everybody has a personality...
--- The Good;; The most important thing about Atheca is that she loves her family and pack. If a wolf becomes part of her pack, she will make it her duty to make sure they are happy and well taken care of. She is extremely loving to her family, and loves to keep things running smoothly. She is somewhat of a peacekeeper, making sure everyone is following the rules and being safe. Atheca also has a witty sense of humor, and likes to joke around with her family. She is only like this around wolves she absolutely trusts, so her humor rarely comes to surface.
--- The Bad;; Atheca is an extremely wary wolf to strangers. This may seem like a good thing, but when there is a stranger she doesn’t know, she will not be comfortable around them until they become part of her family. This wariness might be seen as a good thing, but Atheca believes in flight over fight, which can be extremely bad for her pack.
--- The Dirty;; Having never had a mate, I doubt that Atheca has even thought about the down and dirty at this point in her life. If a male began to flirt with her, she wasn’t sure what she would do. Most likely she would make a joke or try to divert the males attention. She hasn’t found any male extremely attractive to her, but she is yet young, and needs time to find a mate of her own.
- Shiny rocks
- Being with family and friends
- Running in the wind
--- I'm not fond of:
- Showing my wings to unknown wolves
- Strangers
- Overly large prey herds
--- I have a few quirks and habits:
- Staying most of my time in the sun to stretch and strengthen my wings
--- My strengths would probably be:
- My intense love for my pack
- The ability to discipline
- Be able to run fast and long
--- My weaknesses would probably be:
- My wariness around strangers
- The fact that I don’t want to show my wings to anyone
- The possibility of becoming extremely nervous around others
--- Shh, I have a secret:
- I have wings. You can’t notice it very often, but they are there.
--- I have to admit, I'm afraid of:
- Strange wolves
- Fish
--- Hey, I'm proud of my accomplishments, and I'm ashamed of my failures:
I was an extreme asset to my pack because I learned how to keep the peace among my family.
I was forced to leave my family, and instead of fighting to keep my place, I just left.
--- Oh, and you should probably know that:
Nothing

You're only a moment away, a severed dream to live. Well, nights like these it strikes me, I could only quit breathing;;
My past is a window..
My past is a window..
Kila is alive, and is in my home pack.
Rewd is alive, and is in my home pack.
--- I was born along side:
My brother, John is alive, and might someday join me in this new land.
--- Other significant people in my life are/were:
Rock: My mentor, he taught me everything that I know, and I miss him most of all.
--- I would have to say my best memory so far is:
Opening my wings for the first time, feeling the wind through my feathers and letting the sun soak through to my bones.
--- I would have to say my worst memory so far is:
Learning that my parents wanted me to leave my pack, and would force me to do so.
--- Let me tell you a story about myself:
I was born in the fall of a very good year for my pack. My parents were not the alphas, but the high council of the pack. They were the only ones allowed to have a litter that year, and were surprised when I was the only puppy they had. Instead of raising me themselves, after I was weaned, they sent me to stay with the majority of the pack in the densely wooded area around the den site. My parents were part of the pack, but preferred to stay away from the rest of the pack. Because of this, they sent me away to stay with the alpha Rock and the others. Rock took me under his wing and taught me all that he knew. He knew how my parents leaving me alone affected me, and became something of a father to me. I could never forget my parents though, they kept me just long enough to leave an everlasting bond.
For two years I stayed with the pack, learning what I could about our species and the strengths and weaknesses that came with having wings. One day, a few weeks after the first time that I raised my wings to the sun, my father came to visit. I thought he was there to visit me, but instead he was there to tell Rock about strangers and what they thought of our species. Around our pack were many other packs of wolves, none of which were Imperials. Apparently some of the other pack alphas had come to my father and told him that having us with our wings was causing unrest in the packs. My father, peacekeeper that he thinks he is, agreed to hide his wings. Because he had to hide his wings, so did the rest of our pack. When he came to talk to Rock I realized how much the pack was run by my father rather than our alpha Rock. Saddened, I went to practice with the other juveniles on how to properly hide our wings.
After many months, we became quite good at hiding our wings. I still found time to stretch my wings in the sun when no one else was around. Rock began to be pulled away from my side, so I had more time to myself, though a sad time. This was when I found out that I hated being by myself without my family, and every time I found myself alone, I quickly returned to my pack.
I was about two and a half years old when my father returned to the pack, this time with my mother. They had brought along a puppy with them, and with one scent I knew that the puppy was my brother. My parents had had another litter, with again, only one pup, and had brought my brother to the pack to be raised. Giving me an eye, my father turned to Rock. My parents had never liked me, and since I had become turned away from them because of their unloving ways, they decided something for the pack. My father spoke to Rock, telling him that he must make me leave the pack. My mother did not want her son, my brother, John, to be raised like me, or around me, and so wanted me to be run out of the pack. Rock, deeply saddened by this, agreed. He knew that my parents were the real rulers of the pack. Standing there, aghast at this, I could not believe my ears. My dearly beloved pack, Rock, did not want me? I didn’t even think to fight, just stared blindly at my younger brother. I did not know him, and probably never would. Rock crept towards me, eyes sad but teeth bared.
I did not fight him, instead I just turned tail and ran. My parents watched me go, pleasure etched in every turn of their bodies. I ran as far as I could go before I had to stop, to breath. Looking at the sky I made a vow to never leave a pack again. Knowing that I could not survive on my own, I went on my way, trying to find a new home.
