The Fragility of Time;;Time, time is a relative thing in this world. Legends speak of a time when nothing existed in this small pert of the Universe, when the area that this planet floats in was nothing but stardust, ice, and a whole lot of darkness. It was a place that the Gods had forsaken, overlooked, and well, hadn't used to create anything yet. Then, one day, that all changed. They say that Cardea stumbled upon this empty spot of space, and was struck with the insatiable urge to create. She called upon her father to lend her the materials needed to create the world. Thrilled, her father eagerly agreed, and soon all of the raw materials needed, filled the emptiness. Cardea had never been one of the types that wanted the create, and so when the time came, her father was relived.
Using the gifts given to her, she carved out mountains, oceans, valleys, and rifts. She called water into th fill the crevices, and wet the ground. She sowed whole forests, and sprinkled seeds that would take root, and form fields and fields of flowers. It took many years for her creation to come to fruition, and yet even though many animals already roamed her planet, none of them were ones she could really call her own. This was because she was afraid. Fear born from the mistakes of her father, who had been the first to create a planet in the vast nothingness of space. He had created a world, and his creations had nearly destroyed themselves... He had his planet displayed in the Great Hall of the sky, and it was forbidden to interfere with it's progress.
Her father had created humans... Creatures that had proven to be greedy, selfish creations, the majority at least. They had mined their planet down nearly to the core, and had sacrificed the nature, and greenery of their planet for fuel to run their foul machines. As of now, they were nearly prepared with the technology to leave their little dying planet.. Some had even already setup colonies amongst supportive stars in the Galaxy that they inhabited... Of all the horrible, and horrendous things they had done to the planet that had been gifted to them, was what they were currently doing to the other species that called Earth home. For centuries, most of the animals had given up, and allowed themselves to die with the hope of moving on to something better, but few of the noble and proud beasts refused to give in.
Among them, were the great cats, the tigers, panthers, lions and other proud felines. Her brother, Damien, had already laid claim to their souls when they passed on, believing them to be worthy of their own special world. Cardea felt no love for the felines and their vain ways, and chose instead to give her love, and devotion to another such noble breed. The wolves. - The writings of Barani. To Begin Anew, There Must Be An End;;Our ancestors were dying... Their regal legacy being snuffed out by the ever-growing greed, and obsessions of the humans that over-populated the small planet. It was a never-ending battle between what was left of the natural world, and the machines, and technology of the human existence. Cardea saw this, and watched with bated breath to see if the wild world would eventually rise up and stand on even ground. After weeks on the little planet, the only change had been that the wild cats had been eradicated from the planet... At this point, Cardea knew that she had to do something to save the remaining wolves. Demanding counsel with her father, our beloved Goddess pleaded for the salvation of our species. Knowing that the wolves weren't long for their world anyways, he granted her permission to intervene in their struggle on Earth. Taking a form that the wolves would trust, she planned her appearance on the dying planet.
It is said that she first came to the alphas of the last remaining packs, and pleaded that they all put aside their differences and gather in the last sanctuary left to them. The Vale was the home of the largest of the remaining three packs, and they had prepared for the new influx of wolves. Once they had all gathered, she appeared to all of them in the form of a large, pure white wolf, with bright, luminescent green eyes. She told them of her origins, and of her plans to save them from the death that awaited them. She described a world unlike any that most of the wolves had ever heard of, and most of all, she promised to deliver them there safely, if only they were willing to pay the steep price that she demanded.
With very few options left to them, and most of their choices exhausted; they promised to pay the price, if she would give them a new life. They gathered into what would be their final charge, and launched their assault on the human's city. The wolves made little progress, the human's machine guns ending many of the fighter's lives before they even reached the walls. There were very few human casualties, and yet every last wolf had perished.
Now that their spirits were free to roam passed the Earth, Cardea appeared to them and lead their spirits away to their new home on Arcana.

The Origin;; "There was a time when wolves shared a world with creatures that we don't speak of. Not even the elders call them by name, perhaps in fear of resurrecting the demons from their century old graves. It was said that the creature walked upright on their pack legs, and shot fire and metal from their mouthes. They also said that it was because of these creatures, that the world started to die. It started with the forests, the monster tore them all down, down to the very last tree in the whole world. Once the cover and habitats were gone, the animals had to try to find cover from the elements. The only things reflected in their eyes were the giant stone dens that the humans dwelled in. Unfortunatly, the creatures were selfish beings, and refused the ancient onces access to their towns, and homes. They massacured entire tribes, and smoked out dens. They placed the heads of our fallen kin on poles outside the gates the constructed to keep out the havoc they had brought upon themselves in their greed."
"When all seemed lost, and it seemed that both the two-legs and the creatures of the wild would perish in the never ending struggle for a place to call home, a miracle happened. One of the great Godesses of that world came to the wolves and promised them an end to all of their misery, and all of their pain. The wolves knew that not even a god could save them all without a price, and even then, without a question, they placed the fate of them, and their kin in Lucina's plan. In secret the elders and their glorious savoir plotted, though when the time came for the price to be paid, the wolves were unsure if they had the courage to pay it. Lucina's plan was to have the wolves launch a final attack on the two-legs with the final goal of dying and becoming spirits. She claimed that once they had all perished and became spirits, she would take them all away to a new world... One that was new, and thriving, and untarnished by the greed that had claimed their world, and suffocated out the lifestream that had existed there. She explained that the world was dying, apparently the lifestream had become unbalanced, so much so that it the 'flame of the world' or something had begun to go out. That, over time it would become extinguished. Nothing would be reborn, and eventually babies would be born without souls."
"Lucina promised to save us from this fate, but how were we to believe what she had claimed? With no real choice, the clans gathered for a final assault on the monsters, even pups had to come, or so Lucina said. The battle was bloody, and brutal. Everyone was slaughtered, the two-legs had used their boom-sticks, and breathed fire and metal on the wolves, and by nightfall everyone had perished. The spirits of the wolves waited in silence, watching with bated breaths as Lucina descended on them with the brightest of smiles. "Come with me, and I will take you away from this dying planet." She said to them and she pulled them beneath her etheral wings. Once they arrived to this 'new world' she had told them about, she breathed life back into them. and gave them back their corpoeal bodies. "Live, live and be happy my children." She said to them, and then she disappeared."
"This is how they say we came to be here, in Artemesia... Or so the claim. Centuries have gone by, but no one has seen the Godess or any of her workings. Is this really the origin of our stay here, if so, and we are really her children, then why does she allow such violence in her world. Wolves killing other wolves, people shunning others, why doesn't she do anything to cull the violence that we left back on 'Earth'? This sickness, is it the same one that caused the two-legs to suffocate and eventually destroy their world; our world?" - The writings of Barani. One of the lost scrolls of The Arvaki.

The Drums of War ;;
There are stories, passed down the generations, that tell of a great war between the great pack. Back in the early years of our new life on Cardea's planet, the wolves lived in harmony in one single, giant pack that ruled all of the kingdoms. The stories also tell of animosity that was spread when others began to worship Cardea's children instead of our great creator. This did not sit well with the Leading Council of the Great Pack, and they did what they could to stamp out the ones that had turned from their Goddess.
There is not much else written about these bad times, as most of the scrolls, and stories had been either burned or forbidden to speak about. All that I know, was that eventually the Great Pack split into the three packs that now exist. The War that the animosity had created marred the lands in which we dwell, staining Zer Seih forever red, Apto Eluo's waters crimson at certain times, and left us all with a bitter taste in our mouths. - The writings of Barani.
